The previous Windows version (Version 5) is no longer supported and was discontinued.
Support for Windows ended in line with the retirement of older versions, and the focus has now shifted to maintaining and improving the mobile apps.
This decision was made because:
- Mobile devices are the primary way travellers use WikiCamps
- Development is focused on improving core features like maps, trips, and offline access
- Maintaining a separate PC platform would significantly reduce the ability to improve the mobile experience
What can I use instead?
To use WikiCamps, you’ll need to install the app on:
- A smartphone, or
- A tablet
This ensures you have full access to:
- Offline maps
- Trip planning tools
- Campsite information and reviews
