If your display name isn’t being accepted, it’s usually because it doesn’t meet our requirements.
Display names must:
- Be unique (not already in use by another user)
- Not contain restricted or inappropriate words (including profanity or offensive language)
- Meet basic formatting rules required by the system
If a display name doesn’t meet these criteria, the app will prevent account creation until a valid one is used.
What can I do?
- Try choosing a different display name that:
- Is simple and unique
- Doesn’t include special characters or restricted terms
- Isn’t already taken by another user
