(Old app) How do I print my trip?

Please note: This article relates to the old WikiCamps app (version 5 and older).

Update to WikiCamps version 6 from your app store.

Using Trip Planner, you can print a copy of your trip by selecting the trip plan that you wish to print.

Android and Apple tablet

  • Open Trip Planner.
  • Tap on the menu icon; located left of the search bar. The trip site list will display.
  • Tap the three vertical dots; located on the bottom right corner of your trip header image. An Options pop up will appear.
  • Tap Print Trip.
    • Your device may prompt you to open the share menu.
    • If it does, you may need to select the option to copy the trip link.
    • Once copied, you can paste the trip link into your browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari or Edge) for you to print*.

Windows

  • Open Trip Planner.
  • Click the three vertical dots; located on the bottom right corner of your trip header image. An Options pop up will appear.
  • Click Print Trip.
    • Your device may prompt you to open the share menu.
    • If it does, you may need to select the option to copy the trip link.
    • Once copied, you can paste the trip link into your browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari or Edge) for you to print*.

*Note: The printing method for your device's browser will vary based on your operating system. For most mobiles or tablets, you will want to use the "share" button and look for a print option. On Windows use the "Control + P" keyboard shortcut.

 

WikiTip:

In order to print a trip, you will need to view the web version, which requires you to make the trip public first. Making a trip public gives you a link that you can send to your friends and family to let them view or copy your trip. Only people with the link can view your trip.

How to make your trip public.

  • Open Trip Planner.
  • Click/Tap on the menu icon; located left of the search bar. The trip site list will display.
  • Click/Tap the three vertical dots; located on the bottom right corner of your trip header image. An Options pop up will appear.
  • Click/Tap the Edit Trip Details.
  • Slide the Make Public toggle to on; it should now be green.
