If you're experiencing problems with your WikiCamps App, such as system shutdowns or crashes, we recommend first checking for:
- Device software updates; and
- WikiCamps App version updates
Your device mat be set to automatically update software and apps by default when connected to the internet. If this feature is turned off, a manual update is required. Pleas see the below steps.
Software update:
iOS
- Open Settings, home screen.
- Open General.
- Open Software Update.
- Available updates will display.
Android
- Open Settings, home screen.
- Tap About Phone, bottom of screen.
- Tap Software Update (if available on your Android) OR
- Tap System Update.
Windows
- Open Settings.
- Open Update and Security.
- Open Windows Update.
- Click check for Updates.
WikiCamps Upgrade:
IOS
- Open the App Store.
- Tap your Profile icon, top right corner.
- Scroll to Available Updates.
- Tap the Update button next to WikiCamps or
- Tap Update All to update all apps.
Android
- Open Google Play Store.
- Tap the Profile icon located at the top of the screen.
- Tap Manage Apps & Devices. If an update is available, the “Update available” label will show.
- Tap Update.
Windows
- Open the Microsoft Store app.
- Click the three dots in the top right corner (ellipsis).
- Select Download and Updates from the menu.
- Click the Get Updates button.
Other troubleshooting help:
- Restart your device.
- Uninstall and reinstall WikiCamps (there is no cost to reinstall).
