WikiCamps forum rules and guidelines

These rules and guidelines aim to provide clarity on expected behaviour, ensuring a more enjoyable and secure experience for all.

Please be aware that any advice or comments provided on this forum represent the views of individual users and not necessarily those of WikiCamps. WikiCamps does not assume responsibility for any advice or information shared by users in any capacity.

Forum Rules:

  1. No discussion of any illegal activity or threats of violence.
  2. No use of explicit, racist, obscene, or vulgar language, images, or messages.
  3. No posts that attack, insult, defame, or abuse others.
  4. Respect other members' opinions and point of View.
  5. Do not give your opinion if it is not asked for.
  6. No advertising or links to advertising or ‘Spam' is permitted.
  7. No posts of copyrighted material, lengthy articles, or posts of an overtly political or religious nature.
  8. Do not post offline personal contact information (i.e. your home address, phone numbers etc.) and do not ask for personal information from others. This is to protect your security and identity.

 

Forum Guidelines:

  • Check existing topics before posting a new topic, please use the search feature to see if there is already a topic open on the subject.
  • Ignore bothersome members.
  • Report posts that violate the rules. Do this by tapping the three dots on the right of the post and selecting 'Report Post'.
  • Welcome new members. Help new folks 'learn the ropes' about how to use the app and forum. Use descriptive titles for new posts.
  • Avoid 'generic' post subjects like 'Help' or 'Question'. You will receive a better response to your posts by making your title more descriptive respectful about the content of your post.
  • Be respectful of members - personal views/opinions on subjects such as politics, race, sexual orientation & religion will be removed.
  • Stay on topic. Posts which are not relevant to the forum topic may be deleted.
  • Keep posts family friendly.

 

Please keep in mind that members who fail to adhere to the rules and guidelines may face consequences, including having their posts edited or deleted, their member account permanently banned from further access and/or deleted without notice.
